Children love animated movies and there are many production houses which produce with big budgets to cash on the craze for these types of movies. There are many successful 3d animated movies in the history of the film industry and the sole reason being a strong storyline with cute characters which send a perfect message for the society. Jane Willoughby is a popular character from the animated movie ‘The Willoughbys’ which was produced by popular streaming platform Netflix. This movie was inspired from Lois Lowry’s children’s book, ‘The Willoughbys’, which was a huge hit when it was published. Jane is the middle child of her family of four siblings. Jane’s older brother is Tim Willoughby and her younger brothers are Barnaby A and Barnaby B respectively. Jane wants to be an orphan as her biological father and mother are both not caring and loving to her. Jane is very proficient at singing but never given freedom by her parents, hence she wanted to live a life without their interference.

Jane Willoughby’s full name is Jane Meriah Willoughby, who is a passionate singer and loves singing songs while in the meantime consuming her most favourite candies. Jane doesn’t like her biological father and mother as they both never care about their children. At one scene, the Willoughbys were even seen eating dinner made of meatloafs without even sharing with their children. The couple were not like this when they were married, rather they were a beautiful couple who wanted to start a new life as parents. But after the birth of their four children, they stopped caring about them and went on full berserk mode by not loving their children. Since childhood, no love from their parents made Jane craving for adoption by Linda who happens to be The Nanny. Jane also wanted to have Commander Melanoff who used to run a candy factory as her adopted father. Eventually in the end of the film, she gets adopted by Linda and Melanoff as she escapes with her brothers from their biological parents.

Jane is a very petite young girl who was also known as Tiny redhead due to her red coloured hair. Jane had long hair which used to touch her waistline and she used to keep them open. She has big round glasses on her beautiful fair toned skin. She had black eyes with her eyes protruding out just like her father. She was shorter than her elder brother but taller than her younger two brothers. She used to wear a dark green dress with white collar and white socks which were covered by black shoes.

Jane Willoughby is the middle sister of her three brothers, yet she was caring to them and loved them so that they would not feel the same hatred towards her Biological parents. Jane is very passionate for her singing and loved eating cookies but her passion was never recognised by her biological parents and they used her for making illicit documents and fake brochures. She developed a hate for her parents but never wanted that feeling to be induced in her younger brothers hence she was always seen caring and sharing with them. She loved her elder brother who used to be her crime partners and they both had good bonding.

Jane got a fair bit of following due to the average yet successful response from the audience for this animated film of ‘The Willoughbys’. The film was produced and released by Netflix, which had viewership numbers more than 37 million in the first month of its release. Although the numbers are great, the ratings for this movie were rather average, sitting around 6.8/10 with many of the critics rating it just 68 out of 100. but Jane made herself a good name as she was depicted as a very cute, innocent and caring middle girl of the family. She wanted to be loved and cared for by her parents hence she hated her parents but she never wanted that feeling in her brothers to be developed. All this maturity at such a young age made her very famous and popular enough for the month of it’s release on the OTT platform of Netflix.
