With several developmental projects in the pipeline, the year 2022 is expected to be a profound year for the Godda district of Jharkhand. Recently, it has been indicated that Adani Power Plant in Godda will be inaugurated by the first quarter of the year 2022.
The indication was given by the Chairman of Adani Group, Gautam Adani himself. The power plant is anticipated to produce1660 MW of electricity, of which400 MW will be completely allocated to the people of Jharkhand. This will largely help the state to get rid of the power shortage problems to a great extent.
The idea of constructing the power plant in Motia village of Godda was discussed during the meeting between Gautam Adani and Godda MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey. Gautam Adani informed that with the current pace of work, it is likely to be operational by March of the year 2022.
After the total power generation in the handle of 830-830MW, Jharkhand will be given 400 MW power by the Adani Group. Additionally, Power generation will boost numerous large and small-scale industries within the state. With the continuous power supply in every area of the state, small to big entrepreneurs across all the sectors including agriculture will be able to enhance their activities.
The work of Adani Godda was started in 2017. The pipeline to bring flood water has been already laid. On the other hand, the work of large chimneys and water reservoir work is on full swing as well. However, during some phases, progress was slowed down due to Covid-19-ledlockdown.
Overcoming the challenges and with the decline in the number of Covid-19 cases, company officials have said that they are striving to complete this project within the set time limit.
