You’re not alone if you’ve heard this before. The reason why is because it’s a fact. The ecology benefits when people consume food that is grown and produced close to where they live. This reduces transportation, packaging, and overall resources. Thank your local farmers and small businesses as a consequence. Remember that food can be frozen, therefore don’t hesitate to do it.
