Are you currently looking for a way to create a new revenue source for your business? Or do you want to provide your customers with the best experience while accessing top global content? don’t care. Let us introduce you to Telkom SCC!
What is SCC?
Specific Content Connectivity (SCC) is an interconnectivity service provided by Telkom Indeonia designed for Internet service providers who want to provide their users with fast and immediate access to top content. But, how does Telkom SCC actually work? SCC is basically an IP transit version delivered via Telkom Content Delivery Network (CDN). With scc.telkom.co id, you can connect directly to Telkom Indonesia’s CDN partners and directly access various content provided on the CDN network. Put it this way, if you want to travel to Japan from the UK, instead of transferring in Dubai, you can take a direct flight. So instead of waiting for Facebook content to transit and reach your computer, SCC provides your Internet users with direct access to the content without waiting for the data to transit.
What is a fixed line?
The term ‘fixed line connectivity’ includes all types of Internet connectivity that use a physical line (be it a fiber optic connection or a copper line). There are three main types of fixed line connections, these are:
- Fiber to the Premises (FTTP)
- Fiber to the Cabinet (FTTC)
- full copper (ADSL)
What do static lines do?
Fixed lines provide data connectivity to campuses across the UK, giving them an internet connection. Fixed lines make up the UK’s broadband network, and are produced by Openreach. Almost every premises in the UK has some form of fixed line. Most businesses use their fixed line to access the Internet, but more and more people are taking advantage of SIP and VoIP. SIP uses this same line to make and receive telephone calls as well as access the Internet.
How does fixed wireless internet work?
Fixed wireless Internet is transmitted over the airwaves from towers to receivers that the service provider may have installed on the user’s property. For a fixed wireless Internet connection to work, the receiver must be within about 10 miles of the fixed wireless Internet service provider’s tower. High-end fixed wireless uses fixed wireless broadband modems that bypass the telephone system and provide Internet access hundreds of times faster than twisted-pair hard-wired connections to telephone or cellphone connection modems.
